Haitian Lawyers Association Attorneys Selected to the Florida Bar Leadership Academy

Three members of the Haitian Lawyers Association were selected for the 2014-2015 Florida Bar Leadership Academy. Our members were selected to be among the 30 fellows chosen from hundreds of applicants to represent the South Branch, which encompasses the 3^rd and 4^th DCA areas of Florida. The three attorneys selected are Byrnes Guillaume, Patricia Elizee, and Sophia Lopez.

The program’s purpose is to enhance the leadership skills of a diverse and inclusive group of lawyers and enable them to become effective leaders in the legal field and in the greater community. During the one-year term, fellows of the Florida Bar Leadership Academy follow a curriculum tailored to increase their professional development, knowledge base, and experience. Mr. Guillaume is the Partner of Byrnes Guillaume, Attorney At Law, PLLC, a law firm established to provide legal solutions for individuals in need of legal representation. Legal services offered are for Criminal Offenses, Immigration, Wills, Personal Injury, Landlord/Tenant Dispute, Family Law and Ad Hoc Law services determined on a case by case basis. Ms. Elizee is a Partner of Elizee Hernandez Law Firm, where she practices Immigration and Family Law in South Florida.
